As predicted, WIMAX looks to be a serious challenger to the current national carrier. The latest reports are about regional companies trialling the WIMAX technology joining forces to cerate a nationwide WIMAX network.

The new version of Wordpress has been released.
This blog runs 1.5.2 and has been great! But there are some nice features to be added to v2.0 including:
completely new administration interface
a persistent cache
new user role system
WYSIWYG Editor
I'll upgrade to version 2.0 over the next week or so as workload allows.

What will the new year bring us in the world of the internet?
Will Telecom be reigned in by the NZ Commerce Commission? I think there will be some action, but I also think there will be challenges by Telecom to any significant rulings against them ...
